According to Leake and Warren (2009), researchers from Ohio State University implied that heavy Facebook
users, particularly university students, tended to dedicate lesser time for their academic work. This in turn resulted in an
adverse effect to their examination results and 'grade point average' compared to those who did not use Facebook.
